| Position Summary: | The Account Manager will be responsible for developing deeper loyalty with existing clients, driving client retention and building further revenue opportunties within the client base. |
Responsibilities
- Effectively promote and sell Convey’s solutions to clients through the adoption of Convey’s sales process and Account Management methodology
- Follow procedures for account discovery, account handling, solution positioning, and phone conversation techniques as part of the Account Management methodology
- Provide feedback and improvement ideas on current account management process
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets and pipeline growth targets
- Build strong relationships at all levels of clients’ organizations
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual client reviews
- Ensure client retention by balancing client expectations of the delivery of Convey’s solutions and serve as an internal advocate for the client
- Develop and execute on an annual territory plan which will reflect your plan to achieve revenue and pipeline targets
- Monitor personal account management performance daily, and manage regular forecasts of revenue goals and soft cold calling objectives to existing clients
- Identify and ensure resolution of client issues by coordination with internal departments and clients
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, documents, and tools to benefit internally and externally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a telemarketing, sales or client services groups with high level interaction with external prospects, clients or partners
- Minimum of 2 years quota experience with demonstrated ability to exceed quotas
- Tax, Financial Services or Software industry experience preferred, software-as-a-service industry experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently and actively manage pipeline development of those opportunities
- Strong team player – identifying and executing ideas that will make both Client Management and Convey more customer-centric and high performance
- Successful management of individual performance targets and benchmarks (activity rates, qualified leads and lead-to-sale conversion rates)
- Good interpersonal listening and communication skills
- Up to 20% travel for client meetings, trade shows, and special projects
- Ability to pass a background/credit check
